Kane Pixels Backrooms Wiki

Backrooms - Motion Detected is a horror short film and seventh chronological video in Kane Pixels' Backrooms Series. The film is about Async setting up several motion detection cameras in the Backrooms around the Threshold.

Plot[]

The video starts with text reading "March 5, 1990" and transitions to the Threshold, leading to the beginning of the Backrooms. There, Async personnel are constructing a base to make their research easier and safer. They have also set up a system of motion sensing video cameras all around the area. Text appears on screen explaining that seven cameras have been set up to capture any motion or audio changes detected. A map is shown displaying five of the seven cameras set-up and their optimal placement. What follows is a compilation of detected motion alerts received on the night of March 5th, 1990:

  • On 19:39:43, camera 3 detects three Async researchers on their way to explore the Backrooms.
  • On 20:26:43, camera 3 detects the same researchers coming back.
  • On 21:02:12, motion is detected of a supervisor passing Camera 6 and looking at it for a brief moment.
  • On 21:14:04, the noise of the Threshold closing is detected.
  • On 01:06:44, camera 2 detects noise coming from an unknown source within the Backrooms.
  • On 02:13:35, noise is detected of camera 3 having a microphone failure.
  • On 03:53:42, camera 5 detects motion of what seems to be an unknown black figure with tentacles seemingly floating or very tall and peeking behind a wall from afar. A red circle is marked around it and the footage gets upscaled and enhanced.
