Backrooms - Presentation is a short film and the thirteenth video in Kane Pixels' Backrooms series. Taking place after the events of Backrooms - Report and before the events of The Backrooms (Found Footage). The film follows a presentation by the Async Research Institute about the organization's future plans with the Backrooms. In the description, there is a link to the unlisted video Simpsons.
Plot[]
After an FBI warning screen, The video starts with footage of an office meeting room looking at a projector screen, the lights turn off and a projector lights up and starts with an Async logo opening. The presentation is about the "A-Space" Prospective Development, the presentation continues with footage of everyday life along with a voice explaining how the advancement of technology has caused many unfavorable byproducts. The video shows an animation of a map of the United States and an Async logo forming over California, the voice continues with explaining that Async has found the solution to these problems, which is the Low-Proximity Magnetic Distortion System. The voice explains the Low-Proximity Magnetic Distortion System and shows redacted text on screen, but the presentation cuts off to a later part of the presentation. An animation of supplies and personnel entering the threshold into the Backrooms is shown, with the voice explaining how supplies and personnel can enter through various thresholds across the Backrooms. The animation shows the threshold doorway expanding in size and freight trucks start entering the Backrooms, the voice explains that the threshold doorway can be expanded to transfer larger materials into the Backrooms.
The footage cuts to surveillance footage of a corridor in the Async Research Facility, where three persons are seen walking down. The footage cuts back to the presentation, and shows two 3D graphs of the "A-SPACE" showing that it costs less money and has more storage than conventional storage. The footage cuts back to the surveillance footage of the three people, then back to the presentation animation showing the space in the Backrooms converted into a research and development section, an industrial processing section, a storage and warehousing section, corporate offices, commercial spaces, and residential spaces.
The footage cuts back to a long concrete corridor, and a person is seen walking across from the camera, the camera operator points the camera too the left to show another hallway. The presentation is brought back up and is showing various concept images of the Backrooms with various furniture in them. The footage then cuts to the observation room above of the threshold area, and the three people from earlier look through the window to see the threshold. The footage cuts to the three people going into the Backrooms to an area to the left of the Async area in the Backrooms, where there is a model of the immediate area surrounding the threshold in the Backrooms.
The footage cuts to the Async area in the Backrooms, and the threshold is shown closing with the Async area turning on blue lights after the threshold closes. The footage cuts back to the observation room above the threshold in the research facility with four people talking to each other on a table, a warning signal is heard with one of the workers going over to a computer observing in confusion as a hazmat suited man with red lights in the room as he looks around in confusion.
