Backrooms - Prototype is a horror short film and the first chronological video in Kane Pixels' Backrooms series. It follows the testing of a miniscule prototype Threshold on May 10th 1982 in Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Plot[]

A camera focuses on the outside and then zooms in towards a sealed in room. Inside this room, an eight-armed metallic device surrounds a small metal ball; those eight devices likely being electromagnetic field generators. It cuts to a screen of text about a test being conducted on May 10, 1982 at Oak Ridge National Laboratory under the supervision of "Philip R. Heymann". (Note: Philip Heymann is a real name)

Device

The machine.

The machine starts and a small device at the bottom of it starts spinning. The eight machines fire and a bright spark surrounds the metal ball. The bright light dissipates and the spinning device on the right stops moving. The ball is gone because it has been teleported into the Backrooms. The footage then cuts to black.
