Julien Reverchon is the overarching protagonist of The Oldest View. He was a real-world French botanist, in which the The Rolling Giant was based on.
Biography[]
In the first episode Renewal, Reverchon is seen going up to a flower, examining it, and taking it. He is then seen walking through the woods, passing by the trees and going to sit on a tree stump, when he's about to write in a book.
In the third episode The Rolling Giant, he is seen as a painting, with his name written confirming it's him. There were also leaves under the painting.
in the fourth episode Life of a Giant, he's seen in the end as a portrait.
Trivia[]
- The third episode, Wyatt says he used to study botany, referencing Julien's profession as a botanist, before switching to business.
- It's apparent to notice that Julien Reverchon is greyscale in Renewal, along with every other scenery besides grass, leaves and flowers.
