Randall Tachi is a member of the Async Research Institute, he was part of an exploration team along with Mark and Marvin in Backrooms - Reunion.
Biography[]
During and expedition into the Backrooms on May 25, 1990, Randall, along with Mark armed with a gun and Marvin explore a new dark area of the Backrooms designated by Async as "Room 14C." After a while of exploring, Randall discovers a drawing one wall appearing to be a map of the surrounding area.
Randall along with the team walk back to the A Team at the pitfalls room after losing radio contact, as they walk back Mark is attacked by Peter Tench and grabs ahold of his Gun. Peter ask questions to them and reveals to the team that everyone outside thinks he's dead, Marvin and Peter end up recognizing one another. After Mark receives a radio signal, he contacts the A Team to call for backup. Marvin urges Peter to not shoot while also trying to urge Mark to stop talking, but Peter ends up shooting and seriously injuring Mark. Randall walks over to Mark's unconscious body as Marvin tries to talk to Mark.
